Walden (ex-EHDH) finalizes the acquisition of Movianto

Walden (formerly EHDH) announced that it has completed the acquisition of Movianto, thereby becoming the European leader in transport and logistics services for the pharmaceutical sector. Stéphane Baudry, Chairman and CEO of Walden, is the majority shareholder of the new group. This acquisition is made on the basis of an enterprise value of 133 million US Dollars. After Ciblex, Eurotranspharma, Eurodis and Ecocourses, the acquisition of Movianto marks a new essential milestone in the development of the family group founded in 1951 by the grandfather of current CEO Stéphane Baudry.

Mondi upgrades its paper bags facility in Hungary

Mondi has successfully completed the implementation of a new state-of-the-art paper sack converting machine at its Nyíregyháza site in Hungary. The machine - a Windmöller & Hölscher AD 8320 / AM 8115 - allows the plant to produce a new line of sophisticated paper sacks for food packaging. The site will be capable of producing more than 130 million sacks annually. The Mondi Nyíregyháza plant, which employs more than one hundred people, serves the Hungarian, Romanian, Austrian and Bulgarian market in many industries and sectors.
