Precise environmental monitoring with alarms and reporting

Ensuring the safety, quality, and effectiveness of medicines: that is why pharmaceutical companies must pay close attention to the integrity of their products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Potential deviations must be identified and remedied immediately. Alarm systems such as the testo Saveris 1 Solution can detect critical environmental changes such as temperature increases in storage rooms at an early stage. By actively intervening, corrective measures can be taken immediately before the products are damaged.

Ifm and Schuler cooperate for more digitalization in sheet metal forming

Ifm and Schuler have agreed to work together to monitor and improve quality in press shops through digitization. The goal is to offer customers more transparency and increase efficiency in sheet metal forming. Presses for sheet metal forming are among the most important machines in all industries where sheet metal is processed. In addition to Schuler's digital solutions to support digitalisation in the press shop, the Ifm Smartstamp adds a software tool to the range. Within milliseconds, it detects tilting and eccentricity as well as the resulting tilting moment on forming presses.

The B2B information portal for safety & security

Digital transformation is increasingly bringing safety and security together. Production machines and systems must run safely for employees and the raw materials and supplies to be processed, with as few failures as possible. At the same time, the networked production system must be protected against external hacker attacks. In this context, cyber security is the keyword. The production system must also be protected against physical attacks. Access control and security technology are indispensable here. The new B2B trade medium for safety and security takes up these topics.
