Greenfield project: Carlsberg is investing €191 million in a new brewery in China

Carlsberg and KHS have been working together as partners in Asia for a long time. The latest joint project in the southern Chinese metropolis of Foshan is also one of the largest. Carlsberg has been building a greenfield project with a capacity of five million hectolitres since 2022. It can be expanded to 14 million hectolitres in three construction phases. New buildings with a total area of around 80,000 square metres are being constructed on a 16-hectare site. In this first phase, the group has so far invested €191 million in its 27th brewery in China.

The B2B information portal for safety & security

Digital transformation is increasingly bringing safety and security together. Production machines and systems must run safely for employees and the raw materials and supplies to be processed, with as few failures as possible. At the same time, the networked production system must be protected against external hacker attacks. In this context, cyber security is the keyword. The production system must also be protected against physical attacks. Access control and security technology are indispensable here. The new B2B trade medium for safety and security takes up these topics.
