Automatica China 2027: Leading trade fair expands to Shanghai for the first time
With Automatica China, Messe München is expanding its international strategy and tapping into one of the most important growth markets for robotics and automation. The event’s premiere is scheduled for March 8–10, 2027, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and will take place concurrently with Laser World of Photonics China. The new trade fair is designed to provide companies across the entire value chain with access to technologies, applications, and partners in the Chinese market.

Neste invests €111 million in large-scale chemical recycling with new upgrading facility in Finland
Neste has commissioned a new facility for processing liquefied waste plastic at its Porvoo refinery, representing a significant investment in the industrialisation of chemical recycling. Designed to strengthen the supply of high-quality recycled feedstock for the plastics and chemicals industry, the project represents a total investment of €111 million. With a processing capacity of up to 150,000 tons per year, the plant is currently the largest facility of its kind worldwide. The ramp-up phase has already begun and will be scaled depending on regulatory and market developments.
